I gave in

Yep, we did it.  We went to the American Girl Doll Store and Bistro today.

Do you think my decision made her happy?

Pumpkin counted out $53.50 in change (with very few quarters).  After an hour of watching her diligently count all those coins, I could not refuse her such a treat.

Little Miss benefitted from Sissy’s hard labor.  She was a bit delighted as well.

And what made it even better?  Nana came with us.

And The Lad weaseled his way over to Gran’s house.  He was thrilled to miss the dining experience.  He would have been disgusted.  100% disgusted!

We had a great day.  So much for me staying home all day like I had planned.  I even attended a church party in the evening and took the kids along. Bedtime was late yet again.  UUGHH!

In case you are curious . . .  The Lad led Gran to Target for those game cards and Little Miss did indeed go over to Nana and Papa’s house and play with Taffy.

It could have not been a better day.

Well, we needed Daddy here to enjoy it with us.
