It’s back

Where it belongs.

After 62 days out of our care, our beloved Henrietta the Honda has returned from the Honda hospital.  She is safely tucked into the garage.  We are all thrilled to have her back with us.  She was still basically new when the accident occurred but we had stopped calling her the “new van.”  Tonight the kids were all anxious to ride in the “new” van, not Daddy’s old one.  Yes, we own two Honda Odyssey vans.  Why not?

And to think I was the one who said I would only drive a Suburban, never a minivan.  Now I am addicted, especially to those glorious automatic doors.  They are my friends!

We have the car back, the dust cleaned up from the construction in the house, the furniture arranged and the old appliances hauled off.  Maybe things are getting back to normal here at the Knightly manor.  The definition of normal is at question here.  And whatever normal is, it just doesn’t seem to stick around here too long.
