Help for ponytail holders

WfmwsmallWell, Spring Break is around the corner and I am in the mood to get myself organized.  I plan on spending a day cleaning up things around my classroom but I also have high hopes of getting my house in order.  We were able to organize quite a bit after putting the new floors down last month but the kids’ bedrooms need attention.  So do the bathrooms.

One thing on my to-do list is to reorganize the wee little closet in the main bath that serves as the kids’ bath too.  One day as I was digging through the cute little basket full of every colored ponytail holder under the rainbow, I was convinced there had to be a better way.  It then occurred to me that I could use the same item I used in my own drawer to hold my earrings.  Ice cube trays!

I dumped out the plethora of those little holders, sorted by color and placed then in separate compartments in the ice cube trays.  It works so nicely.  Well, at this very moment it is a product of my laziness (and the girls’) and looks like a rainbow turned upside down and stomped on.  Like I said, I am about to do some serious spring cleaning.  That is why there is not a picture to go a long with this post.

Oh!  I purchased ice cube trays for 3 for $1.00 this weekend at Dollar Tree.

Now go organize but first go over to Rocks in my Dryer and see some more random and useful tips.

Happy Spring Break!
